Book Review: The Last Human Job

Happy August everyone!!! Did I finish this a week & a half ago? Yes! But, I have been busy with packing, moving, & unpacking tings, so here we are.

I learned a lot from this book! It was a pretty interesting read and my favorite part of the book was the real-life examples and stories the author shared in the midst of the more scientific, scholarly content. The book focused on the importance of human to human connection in the workplace, and looked at that connection in today’s increasingly AI & technology-based world. The author shared a lot of stories from teachers, psychologists, and people in the medical field.

It is pretty heavy with academic language, so it took me a while to get through the chapters, but I did really enjoy the information I was reading about. So, I wouldn’t say it’s a light summer read, but it was great, nonetheless.
